A stronger presence on international markets is one of the next steps on the company’s agenda.
The 100% acquisition of Gabs is an important element of a strategic development plan for the whole company, including the recent (January 2016) opening of the first corporate showroom in Milan’s Via Sant' Andrea to display the three brands Campomaggi, Caterina Lucchi and Gabs and the first Campomaggi flagship store in via della Spiga, in the capital city of Italian fashion.
Campomaggi & Caterina Lucchi SpA 2015 turnover equaled euro 40M and is expected to be stable in 2016.
GABS is the Italian brand that has revolutionized the world of leather goods. Started in 2000 from an idea of the Florence-born Franco Gabbrielli, the brand is based on a totally innovative idea: the first bag able to be transformed into completely different models with a simple and elegant system: a turquoise button which has become the icon of the GABS brand.
Within the new organization, Franco Gabbrielli retains the role of creative director of the brand GABS.
